Overview

This project aimed to modernize an existing K-12 STEM curriculum by integrating project-based learning (PBL) methodologies and fostering critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.

Goals

  • Align curriculum with current educational standards.
  • Increase student engagement and motivation in STEM subjects.
  • Develop students' problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Provide teachers with comprehensive resources and training.

Design Process

The redesign involved collaboration with educators, subject matter experts, and students. We analyzed existing materials, identified gaps, and developed new PBL units. Teacher training workshops and pilot programs were conducted to ensure successful implementation.

Outcomes

The new curriculum led to a significant improvement in student participation and critical thinking skills, as reported by teachers. It also provided a flexible framework that educators could adapt to their specific classroom needs.
